The Hotend DICE-V2 is almost identical in construction to the first series. However, the mounting of the thermistor has been completely redesigned and the heating cartridge is now secured with a setscrew.

Advantages of the DICE-V2 compared to other conventional Hotends:

• smaller heating block: less heat radiation that heats up the print
• Significantly shorter heat-up time, depending on the set PID values between 30 and 50 seconds
• professionally designed thermistor in a stainless steel cartridge
• High-performance heating cartridge with ground outer surfaces. This makes the outer surface circular and therefor has a good fit in the mounting hole, which significantly improves heat transfer to the heaterblock.
• High-temperature silicone coating that "just holds". Strip over, ready. No further fixing necessary.

The DICE-V2 is fully compatible with the E3D-V6 - "ecosystem". That means it fits all nozzles and heatbreaks that would fit on an E3D-V6. So you are not restricted in any way and can use your favorite nozzles and heatbreaks.
