On FabCon2016, I had the opportunity to show off my fast little printer, the DICE. Very excited, but also very determined I came to the fair early in the morning, two complete DICE in tow:
You probably know the vibration-damping feet for the DICE, already. They are casted out of durable silicone. This time, I did a substitute for the springs beneath the printbed
I am very, very pleased with the vibration-damping feet for the DICE, but it's sad that you can't just glue them beneath the printer. Glue just won't stick to the silicone...
Currently I am busy to make a video build-tutorial for DICE. I already added a playlist in my youtube-channel, which is expanding with every further video.
Because the DICE is disassembled at the moment, I seized the moment and sealed the heated printbed with silicone. This is possible because I designed a relatively "special" printbed: 8mm thick, precisionmilled, warmcasted aluminum and PEI-coated.
